The healing power of light

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Primrose Cooper during the PLDA convention in London 2007. She led the morning meditation using light as the media to guide us trough the mediation session. She is a remarkable woman and I just had to read her book.

The book is, as it says on the cover: "a comprehensive guide to the healing and transformative powers of light". Primrose guides us trough the history of healing with light, coloured light and colour. The first quarter of the book is about light as we know it generated by means of natural and artificial light sources, covering sunlight therapy and light treatment for seasonal disorder and jet lag.
The rest of the 130 pages are about the art of healing by means of the light that we carry within, the spiritual light, the holy light. You might also call it our life force, our religious believes or our love. This part is a little harder to grasp as the scientific data are lacking, never the less succeeds Primrose in covering these issues very convincing with good examples.

The book is most suited for those who has an open mind and welcomes all kind of approaches in healing arts. It is, as I stated earlier, primarily a spiritual book that talks more to your heart and soul than to your brain. And Primrose knows what she is talking about.
