Who we are

Everything we do in Fagerhult has its base in the need of light.

Our main strategy is working with light in every way, and with a clear focus on a constant effort in creating the perfect light.

Light means energy, safety and wellbeing for people. Light also needs energy. That's why the idea of creating a centre for knowledge about light, the Fagerhult Lighting Academy (denounced "FLA"), just came naturally to us. We train and educate employees as well as customers in the way we interact with light and lighting solutions.

Fagerhult has got an enormous pool of highly qualified people, and together we have got hundreds of years of experience in lighting. We in FLA are the caretakers of this knowledge, we gather and structure, we evaluate and distribute!

Virtually every Fagerhult employee is a part of FLA, and if you open the door and step inside the office in Copenhagen, Anette and Henrik will be welcoming you with a warm smile on their faces.

Should you be thinking in terms of form and function, then you have got the general idea of the way we share the tasks in FLA. Anette takes care of form, and Henrik takes care of function.

Anette

Anette has got a degree in communication, and she goes about her work in a very well structured and serious manner, and she has got a great sense of empathy as well. She enjoys working with people from all over the world, and in our daily work she is responsible for all our information material. She ensures that all the "engineering" material that Henrik produces gets through her "understanding" filter before it leaves FLA.

Henrik

Henrik loves light and lighting in the widest terms of the word, he talks enthusiastically about it to anyone who cares to listen, and his audience increases. He has worked with lighting for more than 20 years all over the world, in all kinds of applications. Anette has helped making this experience available and understandable for everyone.
